INTERESTED IN BECOMING A VENDOR?
-
Newport Harbor Farmer’s Market is open every Saturday from 9am-1pm in the Newport Harbor Lutheran Church parking lot located at 798 Dover Dr, Newport Beach, CA 92663 (gmail link), the intersection of 16th & Dover.
-
We suggest bringing your own bags to reduce waste, but most vendors will have them if you forget. Some people find it helpful to bring a wagon or rolling basket. Different vendors will accept different forms of payment, so we suggest bringing cash along with your credit card/mobile payment options.
-
Yes, admission is free. The market is supported via donations, sponsors and vendor fees. If you would like to donate, click here. If you are interested in becoming a vendor, apply here. For sponsorship opportunities, email hello@vitaltide.org.

Different Vendors will accept different forms of payment. We suggest bringing cash in addition to credit cards/mobile payment options so you don’t miss out on anything. We’ll have more information on EBT/WIC in the future.
-
Yes! Not only is this a family-friendly event, but we will have an interactive art project for kids by Heartfelt Play Studio.

We love dogs and wish we could welcome them, but under California Health and Safety Code Section 114259.5 only service animals are allowed within 20 feet of a certified farmer’s market. We don’t want to lose our license, so please leave your dogs at home.
If you’d like to see this law changed, please (politely) contact District 36 California State Senator Tony Strickland at (714) 374-4000 or California Assembly District 72 Member Diane Dixon at (949) 798-7221 and ask them to “please change California Health and Safety Code Section 114259.5 to allow leashed dogs at outdoor certified farmer’s markets.” They’re the ones that literally make the rules, and it’s their job to serve their constituents. Democracy is cool. -
There is dedicated parking for market customers at the church, but if you’re close by we suggest taking advantage of our weather and walking or cycling. (You’ll also be freeing up room for those with mobility issues.) If the church lot fills up, there is ample public parking in the immediate vicinity.
-
There will be porta potties at the market and ADA-accessable options at the market and the church.
-
Yes, please find us on instagram at @newportharborfarmersmarket. Be sure to share and tag us in any posts at the market. We also love to see what you make with all your local produce!
-
Our creative director friend Daniel Bremmer thought it would be fun to create a brand that anyone can participate in. Put some googly eyes on anything you get at the market and tag @newportharborfarmersmarket on instagram.
-
Your donations support permitting costs, marketing/signage, supplies, volunteer management and random things like pressure washer rentals. In the future, donations will support a Market Match token program to make fresh, local produce more accessable.
